Our Partner Standards

Every engineer in the network signs up to the same standards — and stays in the network only while they keep them.

Before joining

We verify public liability insurance (£2m minimum), trade qualifications or demonstrable time-served experience, specialist certification where the work demands it (G3 for unvented hot water), and a review history consistent with turning up, pricing honestly and fixing things properly. Gas work is out of scope entirely — network engineers do not take gas jobs through us under any circumstances.

On every job

Prices agreed before work starts — fixed quotes for defined jobs, stated call-out and rates for diagnostics. Out-of-hours premiums declared at booking, never on the doorstep. Customers told honestly when a job can safely wait for a cheaper standard slot, when it belongs with our drainage or heating partners instead, and when a repair is worth less than a replacement.

Staying in the network

Insurance and certifications are re-verified on renewal. Complaints are investigated with both sides heard; patterns of pricing surprises, no-shows or poor workmanship end the relationship. We would rather have fewer engineers than defend bad ones — the network's only asset is being safe to recommend.
