My kitchen sink leaks underneath — how urgent is it?
Contained in a bowl or bucket: book promptly. Reaching the cabinet floor: urgent — chipboard units wick water and swell within days. Most under-sink leaks are trap or waste joints and are fixed in one visit.
Can you plumb in a washing machine or dishwasher?
Yes — valved feeds, correctly trapped waste, levelled and tested. If there's no existing connection point we add one, including a proper standpipe where the trap arrangement needs it.
Do you fit boiling water taps?
Yes — tank siting, filter, and expansion handled per manufacturer spec, which is where DIY installs usually go wrong. Filter replacement schedules matter in hard water areas.
Why does my kitchen sink smell?
A dry or unsealed trap, an untrapped appliance connection, or biofilm/fat build-up in the waste. If gullies outside smell too, the issue is the drain run — which we'd route to our drainage partner.
Can you move the sink to an island?
Usually — supply is easy; the waste needs adequate fall to the stack or a pumped solution, plus ventilation to prevent trap siphonage. We'll confirm feasibility from the layout before your units are ordered.
Do you install water softeners?
Yes — softener installation with bypass valves and a hardness check to commission, sized to household demand. In hard water areas the payback shows in every appliance and kettle in the house.
